I was up with the sun today and glad of it. It's going to be too nice a day to not get out there and enjoy it. So, the critters got fed early. But, they were right there waiting for me.
The squirrels were there before I was even back in the house.
Mr. Blue Jay kept watch, though, he doesn't look too happy about it.
A young cardinal wondered if it was safe to hit the ground. Hmm, in the picture it doesn't look too much like a cardinal, but, seeing it live, there was no doubt.
And, one of the Turkey Ladies, dropped by for a snack. She didn't stay too long though, just ate a bit and wandered off. I suspect that this time of the year, there are lots of good things in the woods, and, the lumbering is over, so they don't have to worry about human invasions any more.
Time to follow the critter's examples, and get out and enjoy the day. I hope that you enjoy yours, too.
