Little Miss Becky went for her annual vet visit today. The news isn't the best. At 12 years old, she's developed a slight heart murmur and needs to have some teeth pulled. Vet won't do the cleaning and pulling until she has an ultrasound done to determine what is wrong with the heart, and that's a trip to a specialist. Good news is that it can be put off a couple of months, because, with a broken down washing machine, a big vet bill for both Rachael and Gina and a toilet replacement in the last month, things are a little tight right now.
But, she's my Heart Cat, and we'll do what we must to take care of her.

aww. sweet baby. glad it doesn't appear to be anything serious that needs immediate vetting.
Oh, pretty Becky! I hope it isn't too bad.
Yep, vets are expensive and so are toilets!
It's sad to watch animals grow old, isn't it. I hope she will be fine for a long time yet. Vet bills are killer.
Many goat kisses to pretty Becky!!!
And she is a cutie too!
blood work first to screen for thyroid and kidney, both can cause heart issues
