Just an Ordinary Day

Nothing much going on. Just a lazy day at home. Earlier this morning, Rachael and Leon were being disgustingly lovey dovey, not all that unusual.

The turkey ladies came up for a snack. I notice that they're not coming around in their huge winter flocks any more, but, rather, in ones or twos. I assume that some of the hens have gone broody, and are somewhere back in the woods sitting on eggs. I hope this cold snap that is coming doesn't ruin the eggs.

Rachael has abandoned Leon, and joined Gina on the porch for a snooze in the sun.

And, outside, the daffys are in full bloom and the peonies are growing like wildfire. I have GOT to get that butterfly bush trimmed, and the birdbath filled.

Since the weekend is supposed to be so miserable, I was thinking about taking my weekly walk in the woods today. But, I'm feeling kind of lazy, and might not get around to it. Oh well, we'll see.

Good Morning!

It is a lovely day..... to do nothing.... or do something. Aren't you glad you have your choice?

Gotta love those turkeys! You take such great pics, you must have a gift.

Oh, to be a cat, nothing to do but eat, sleep and have an attitude. Leon is so pretty.

Have a great day, no matter what you do!

I want to come up and sleep on your porch, Auntie Louise! You'd have to get a big litter box for me though (and show me how to use it) hee hee. We are enjoying the warm winds today too.

wow, those turkey girl are fairly good size, longer tails than my girls. I sure wouldn't mind being one of your cats.

Thank you for the lovely daffy photos. And those turkeys! I wish I had some large birds like that around here. I'm still waiting for the road runners to arrive.

I got a kick out of this blog from Sweden: http://catladder.blogspot.com and thought you might like it as well. Or your kitties may, if nothing else.

I have to build one of those for the inside of the house, just for the cat's amusement.
