I'll Help, Ma!
A couple of nights ago, I woke up coughing. No big deal, thinks I, I'll just have a cough drop. I keep a bag in my headboard, so I reached back and grabbed it, unfortunately, upside down. Lots of the cough drops fell out, through the mattress, and onto the floor under the bed, in just that spot that is almost impossible to reach without being a contortionist.
I am a champion at putting things off, so I had been telling myself that "I'll get them the next time I come upstairs." Trouble is, next time never comes. But, I got some unexpected help.
You see, Becky Cat loves to fetch. She is always bringing me things. Thankfully, since she is an indoor cat, those things never include dead critters. But, for the past couple of days, I have been sitting at the computer and have looked down to see Becky sitting with her latest presentation, a cough drop. I pick it up, make a big deal about what a wonderful cat she is, and off she goes, to get another one, until she gets bored. I figure that, in another day or so, there won't be any more cough drops under the bed.

Becky Cat is very beautiful as well as very helpful. I love the expression on her face.
I love her expression too, she is beautiful and what a good girl! She reminds me of my cat, Samantha, who was part of our family for 16 years.
I wonder what Samson would think if he met a kitty. He'd be nice though and would love to play, of that I'm sure.
You are on to something
Now if we could only get them to push a broom in and out under the refrigerator.
My older cat is a fetcher, as was the one before him.
it is sometimes pot luck. Ever try to throw a plastic bag? It can be done if tied into many many knots.
this is Cheezburger worthy

"Recola???"
good girl honey! very smart and pretty too.
So very helpful aren't they? Okay, in THIS case she is being very helpful, but right now, I feel like I'm living in a houseful of kleptomaniacs! Nothing is safe---trying to get ready for work in the morning is a challange--Where is my toothbrush, my hairbrush? Need to take a note---no pens to be found! I never realized that cats are as bad as dogs with the way they snatch and run with things. I do think it is too funny that your Becky Cat is actually helping you out though. She looks very proud.

Such a good kitty! I'd help too but I'd eat all the cough drops instead of bringing them to youuuuuu!
