FINALLY!
It's late in coming, and much anticipated. First snow of the season, and, now, I'm beginning to feel Christmassy!
I think the goldfinches are feeling more hungry than Christmassy. They're making sure their little bellies are full, just in case.

I was beginning to wonder what your weather was up to. Does seem late
Lucky you! You're getting snow, but it's poring rain in Saratoga today. And we won't see Goldfinches at our feeders until the outlying meadows are deep in snow.
LOL yay for your snow!!! It is beautiful. We can nearly count the flakes....Too bad so sad....we got nothing but rain last night.

We've had a couple inches of rain here and all I can think of is that it could have been snow instead. I secretly love the first snowfalls--It's when I get snowed in that it loses its fun! :-))
Hope your day is going well!!
I just love the view out your back door! And SO pretty with the pine and snows! Feed those goldfinches so they can continue on down to me in Texas! :)
Yes, snow does seem to Christmas-ify things, doesn't it? Make sure you wear warm clothes to feed the birds, at least here, it can get both cold, and slippery... It makes for an interesting combination. (Not...)

Snow here too. . . and lots of customers at the bird feeders!
I was blogging mid morning when the snow came. Oh, MUST we go through this mess another umteen months??!!?? I'm just such a fair weather child!

We have snow too. I love your moody pictures.
What a glad winter treat. Snow is very rare in our "neck of the woods". The feeders are doing their jobs. Your Goldfinches are glad for the food you provide.
We are waiting for our 'first' snowfall here. Soon, I feel.
Love Goldfinches.
Jim
I see you've been sticking your fake goldfinches to your feeder again! ;)
It is beautiful Louise! Is it sticking?
