Today was put it together and try it out day. Actually, putting it together wasn't a problem. Just stick the handle on and screw it into place and you're good to go. It was getting it out of the box that was the problem. I had been thinking about saving the box, covering it with styrofoam under a plastic garbage bag and filling it with loose straw, as a warm place for the feral cat that has been around here all year. No such luck. After sweating and swearing for quite some time, trying to get the inserts and the cleaner out of the box without ripping it, I gave up and tore it to pieces. Sorry little kitty. Back to plan one, a styrofoam cooler inside a plastic storage container with a door hole cut into it.
Anyway, I got it together and tried it out. Niiiiiiiice! It's light and it's maneuverable. Plus, it does a good job on cat hair.
So, here it is!
And, here's the little canister vacuum that came with it. This is the one that has all of the attachments, and I really liked the idea, because it means that they're not all stuck on the big vacuum as you're maneuvering it around.
The others? Meh, like Gina here, they could have cared less.
Now, I'm pooped, and thinking that's enough for one day.

It looks very nice, and not too big to lug around.
My faithful old canister is on it's last leg, I bought a new one, didn't like it, took it back, and persevered with the wonky one.
I'm liking the sperate little canister on yours, I may try and find a place that sells those and go give it a little try.
Those darn packaging boxes drive me nuts :)
I have a cheap canister vac on the way, I have a big heavy Hoover, that is super great for carpets, but is wayyyy too heavy for me and the last of the carpeting is gone now. I used to have a Mighty Mite and loved it, never should have given it away, would probably still be working.
Yep, getting the stuff out of the boxes can be really hard to do, I believe they half pack them, cram the rest of it on top and then close and staple. Argh, so the box is a mess and you can't send it back in the "original" packaging if it isn't any good.
Glad you are happy with it! Now, time to relax!
Niiiice! Both of my cats really hate the vacuum cleaner.
I have a new Hoover. I like it, but it can in no way compare to my old one. I liked the old one much better, but the motor burned out after about 20 years..ha. Guess I can't complain.

Finding a good vacuum is hard. Years ago I bought a high end one thinking it would last a long time. Wrong! It bit the dust within the year. After that I bought a cheapo $40.00 one and that ugly thing is still going strong!
You had me giggling at the box part. hee hee Here it is you are trying to salvage it for the feral kitty, and that stupid box just wouldn't cooperate. :)
Enjoy your new vac!
I ended up getting a cheapo $40 vacuum too a while back because the one my hubby had bought was definitely heavy and man-sized (he can use it when he's around). So I bought my cheapo little yellow "sports car" for me and it works okay - yes it has that nasty little filter that has to be cleaned or it gets clogged with our sand and dirt.
I like your set-up with the hand-held one having the attachments! I hate those pesky things hanging around when all I want to do is vacuum the floor, dammit! :)
Yay! Sounds like a winner.
I broke down and bought myself a Dyson Animal ( mit Ball) I instantly called him Tom Terrific. I used him three times in one week.
A bad vacuum is like a bad bra. You wonder why you put up with such a thing for so long.
Happy Hoovering!!!
I have yet to meet a vacuum cleaner that I want to use.
Very space age! oooo!
Don`t get me started on hoovers ! x
A good vacumn does make the job easier. You have brave kitties. Mine all disappear the moment they see me pulling the vacumn out of the closet. Not that that happens a lot.
