If You Build It, They Will Come

The path from the big tree to the feeder, that is.
It looks like the squirrels and the mourning doves are getting something, but I think I'm going to need to go out and shovel again, before I put down fresh food.

lol Oh you are spoiling those squirrels...I love it....I absolutely adore squirrels, always have, was my favourite animal in the world as a kid and very rare to actually see in Germany. So when we moved into our present house that has a small woods in the backyard, and I had so many squirrels I was in heaven. I know a lot of people see them as a pest, you just have to be wise and prepared for them and against them. Glad they are so loved and spoiled in your backyard.

I just love it! I've been missing our mourning doves - since dove-hunting season in Sept, we've been a little light on our counts. And there's plenty of red seed waiting for them here! But you're keeping yours too fat and happy for them to come down to Texas! :)

LOL I bet that squirrel is emailing all his friends telling them about the nice lady who cleared a path from him....
That is so funny,

We were just noticing this morning that our squirrels had beat down quite a path from their tree to out bird feeder.

Amazing that the squirrel doesn't chase the doves away!
Just remembered...I have to get more bird seed.

Great action shot of the squirrel arriving! It's funny how Mourning Doves and squirrels get along at a feeder when other birds tend to avoid the squirrels.
