Out of My Rear Window 9/5/10

The heat has finally broken.  Yesterday it never made it above 65 degrees F, and today we'll be lucky if it hits 70 degrees F.  I LOVE it!  At the track, yesterday, the young horses were so frisky and alert.  It was actually fun to be there, and we didn't feel like we were going to collapse before we were through.

Fall is in the air.  You can't see it so much from the rear window, but, from the window in the front, you can see that the leaves on the Linden tree are starting to turn, and fall.

I took some very similar pictures yesterday of the sun sparkling through the leaves! A glorious day and today looks like another!

I must say, you have the most interesting back yard of anyone! Cool here too, but we did reach 84 yesterday, and will probably be a tad higher today, but Fall is definitely in the air! Crisp mornings - so nice. The air is clear and doesn't feel like trying to breathe a wet washcloth. I never thought I would look so foreword to Fall as much as I do this year. Have a Happy Sunday and enjoy the lovely days.......... before the snow flies!

it is the light that makes this time of year magic

just slightly chilled mornings and the angle of the light.

Here , all turned gray, but I need to get out and play with camera.

Hi Louise! We are also enjoying a very cool weekend, but the weatherman says that the heat will be back from vacation mid week--I'm hoping he's wrong, I can get spoiled very quickly having my windows open!

Louise...I'm with you and really appreciate the change in the weather.

The problem with posting was the speed...when I upgraded it started working and I'm even using the new editor. Thanks for your help.

You were out in my neck of the woods. I live about 15 minutes from the track.
