Out of My Rear Window 9/19/10

It's going to be a lazy day, and the weather is cooperating.  It's very dark, and conducive to a nap.

The Turkey Ladies came to the feeder, but I scared them when I went to the window to take their picture.  They are the funniest things when they run.

Your window is very clean, Auntie Louise... if you look out one of my lady's windows you'd see spots! Tee hee.

What a treat Louise to be able to see wild turkeys in your backyard!
Yes, we are lucky to have water, water everywhere.

Yes, looks like a good day for a nap and/or a good book. Here it's HOT and muggy and sunny, also a good day for a nap.... :-) Maybe the ladies have retired too?

When I saw the photo, I said "OH! The turkeys are back"! It was fun just to see the photo; it must be a thrill to see them in your own back yard.

I went over to Brunswick Maryland today and they're working on the bridge so one lane is closed. As I sat on the bridge waiting for the light to change, a bald eagle flew over--I was thrilled, I've not seen one in a very long time. Cool huh??

I love turkeys. Saw 3 huge buzzards today out in the country. "Shudder"..

Your turkeys are very persistant. Mine have moved on, apparently. It's funny that such big birds are quite shy.
