Fur People - A Moment in Time

As most of you know, I share my house with four cats.  Wonderful critters, and all different.  Last night, I decided to take pictures of what they all were doing, at that precise moment.

Gina, the Queena the House, was resting on her pillow, looking regal, as always.

Leon was bathing.  He does this often.  Heaven forbid that he should not look his most handsome at all times, for his ladies.

Rachael was looking out the window at whatever critters were underneath the bird feeder at the time.  All of my cats are indoor cats.  Of all of them, I think Rachael, who was a stray when I got her from the rescue, misses the outdoors the most.  She spends the most time looking outside, at least.

And Becky?  Well, I'm not quite sure what this is.  Doing her turkey carcass imitation,  perhaps?

Sigh, anyone else have most of their furniture covered with towels, blankets and throws, because, at least, you can wash them when the critters get them dirty?

Our furniture is covered with fur lol....not even sure what colour our carpet is anymore.....I got five kitties, and I love them all.
Yours are just too adorable.

Think you caught Becky at an awkward moment! ;o)
Our furniture is covered in fur too, the way these three run around, there is no keeping anything covered! Jill would just think it would be a game to remove any towels and get Jack to play tug-o-war! At least (for the moment) your cats "seem" to be serene! LOL

Beautiful cats. We, too, are a household of towels and throws. Heidi is busy losing fur at the moment, so the hoover is doing overtime too lol!

Pretty cats! Our two have decided that our bed is the place to spend the day, now that the weather's cooler.

Clean house -- loving pets -- take your choice.

You have lovely cats!! You should see my furniture--Or actually you can't because it's covered up with drop cloths and sheets--I have a goal someday to let it actually see daylight. But until that day comes, I really work at not letting it collect muddy paw prints! :-))

Becky is clearly doing her yoga.

Maybe Becky is practising to be a vulture and is going to swoop down on unsuspecting kitties? Tee hee.

You have the most beautiful cats. Around here I gave up a long time ago from covering the furniture and such. Hey, I should be grateful they are letting me live in 'their' house! lol :)

I couldn't help but smile as I looked at your photos..
Such loved, well-cared for cats, and {cough] well-fed :)
They are just beautiful !
I think we all have a quilt or two thrown across our furniture and not for our comfort I might add ...

Ha..the towels was one of the first things I noticed (of course after the pretty kitties!). It's a losing battle here, but I try and use sheets/towels/blankets to protect a few things. The corker is when they go UNDER the covering to lay where I don't want them to. ;-) But they are worth every silly little stray hair.

Beautiful kitties. Thanks for showing them off, I enjoyed meeting them. We've pretty much given up on trying to keep things cat proof. A few must-keep-safe items are in a room with a closed door.
