Ahhhhhh. Settling in, here, for an all morning rain. It's coming down steadily, at just the right rate to really soak the ground, and give everything a really good drink. Maybe, since it's coming on September, we'll have an all green Summer.
I can hear that old couch calling me already. This will be a great day to take a long afternoon nap.

We seem to be in a similar weather mode -- ahhh, indeed!
I hope you get that nap! I am hoping I get one too! We had storms last night and chances today, the sun is shining now though. It does feel like a lazy day so far!
I'd pay to have an all morning rain... no, all day rain! I hope you enjoy every minute of it. We are having hot days again and to be honest, I can't wait for fall to come.
Thank you for your nice comment on my blog. It's wonderful what you do.
Rain? What's rain?? We're hot and dry here.
No rain here. The eternal sunshine of summer in a desert canyon is still going on. No sign of fall, except the cool early mornings. Your green grass and the green of the trees sort of helps me feel fresher. Have a great nap. I'll have one too after lunch.--Inger
We could use some more rain. It's starting to feel like Autumn here. The temps have dropped down into the low 50's at night. But the daytime temps still hover in the mid 80's during the day.
I'm waiting for our apples to finish growing so we can harvest them before snow arrives. Just one more month until we can expect our first snowfall.
Summer seemed shorter this year.
Enjoy your nap...I'll be taking one soon, too.

Hope you are enjoying the 'sound' of the rain....love it.
Louise, thanks for your favourite 'classic'....I see what you mean. The apparent 'effortlessness' that she had when she sang. Thanks so much.

I love rain in summer.
I love naps, but there wasn't one for me this weekend--Too busy...:-((( But I did go out to the swim center with Bubba and saw about 8-10 riders from the hunt club with the hounds return after a ride--I so wished I'd brought my camera!
By the way, I saw on the news that we've lost 90 minutes of daylight since June 21st...Summer is coming to an end...
Looks like the weather here on Sunday! Steady slow rain....and green grass and lots of mud on the farm lol-Tina
