Just a few views of the Turkey Ladies, enjoying the sun and strolling around the yard.
Peek-a-boo
It's supposed to rain again this afternoon, so I have to get myself out and do some grocery shopping. I'll check in on all of your blogs when I get back.
Edited at 3 PM to say that the rain did start coming down at about 2 PM, and has been coming down quite steadily ever since. I've sent an email to the young man next door who mows my lawn, asking him to do the mowing this weekend. It will be the first time in weeks that the whole lawn will need mowing.

the last photo you could print and use for Thanksgiving Greeting cards!!
I love wild turkeys, how fun to have them in your yard!
The hen and flowers - great shot!
The weatherman promised you would get some more rain - he better come through!
Great to see the "girls" out early....
Enjoy
i was just going to say the same thing as sam did. love that last photo!
They sure do make themselves at home! The rain was great, but a bit more would be welcome.
We finally had rain also, but not enough. Great photos of the ladies!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Yay for your rain...it has been a long hot dry summer. We might get some tomorrow and cooler temps for a few days. We're glad you got your groceries before the rains came. Nothing worse than bringing in groceries in the rain
Hugs to you and the kitties,
Madi and Mom
Lovin' that last photo! Yeh, rain!
G, these photos really show how relaxed these critters are at your place. It still freaks me out (in a good way) that they are even there! The only turkeys we see and at the grocery stores! lol
They must love flowers like I do! Moseying through the wildflowers, better enjoy it while you can turkey girls! Our rains slowed down and made the grass slow down, but I still can't get it all mowed before it's time to do it again! I do love to see green grass, instead of a sea of brown.
Your last photo is so sweet - the black-eyed susan's are such a great foreground.
We are hoping for rain, too. We had plenty a few weeks ago, and then it dried up. We're supposed to get some this weekend.
Louise -- fun photos -- if they only knew they would be on the world wide net. I thought one looked like a duck? Lucky you getting all the rain. Everyone seems to be behind on rain fall. -- barbara
Your ladies are getting used to posing for the camera, your pictures are really great!!
No rain predicted here until 'maybe' Saturday night--But the humidity is gone, at least for now!
I'm just like everybody else - I love that photo of the turkey and the black eyed susans. Art.
