And, it has four legs!
In the Winter I have many deer that come to my feeder, but, for the past two summers, only this young buck and another, have come in to scrounge for food.
I think that these two are two that came with their mothers a few years ago. There were two does, and each doe had a fawn with her. Those fawns played together in my yard while their mothers ate. I never see the mothers in the Summer any more. But, now, I see two bucks at the feeder. They often come together, which makes me think that they are the two fawns that grew up together. Maybe fanciful, but I like to think it.

He is beautiful ! well worth the wait.
You are so fortunate to have these 4 leggers visiting you. You must live quite far from the city/town!
Big bird indeed!
he is so beautiful. you just want to reach out and touch him. :) i love your wildlife!
Don't know if we had deer get into the bird feeders... A squirrel or two, but no deer. Oh, and the one cat like to sleep on one of the flat feeders. But no deer. :)

Just beautiful. What a lovely sight outside your window!
How sweet. I bet he is the fawn all grown up.
