Update on the Teenager

He's out of the hospital, but has severe frostbite and, as of last night, no feeling in his hands.  I certainly hope that improves.

Poor kid. But at least he's luckier than the kid here in Saratoga Springs who wandered off after a party into a snow storm. His body was found in a creek after days of searching for him.

I'm glad he's home, but that no feeling in his hands is kind of scary.

Thanks, Louise!

Thank you for the update. We'll keep our prayers flowing that he regains completely mobility of his hands and most of all that he realizes how very lucky he is to be alive.

It's sometimes amazing to me that anyone survives the teen years -- that sense of immortality and willingness to take any risk...

Hope the hands improve...

Jumpin's..this is serious stuff...my Dad Ron was stupid today and let 3, yes 3 waves soak him on the beach. What is it with humans anyway. Of course I wouldn't say anything about my water antics!

Oh, that's good he is out of hospital. They can do amazing things these days. Hopefully, his hands will be fine.

Whew! Not bad considering what could have happened! Hard way to learn though!

Like you said, poor kid. But it could have been so much worse.
