Where are you Springtime?

I just got in from shoveling.  Yup, more snow.  Compare this scene from the scene just last Sunday.
That's what I mean by the prolonged battle between Winter and Spring around here.  Right now, Winter is winning.  And, the snow will be around for a while, as the temperature is supposed to not climb out of the low 30's for the rest of the week and the weekend.  Ahh, yes, I love Winter!  Sigh.

Grin and bear it! You can do it, Louise! We will probably have at least one more snow fall.....but I hope not.

Same here. We had spring weather most of the winter to my great disappointment and now we have snow. It is actually snowing like crazy outside as I write this. I love winter, but not when it's supposed to be spring. Last year we got the last snow on May 23. Altitude, I guess. Have a nice evening, Inger

Oh, and I was so excited for you when you posted your latest "Out my Rear Window". Sorry!

(btw, you didn't have your email activated as public - i tried to email you a response and it was the "noresponse-comment" message thing.) :)

I sure hope you have a melt again soon. And Canyon Girl too! Jeepers!

Oh, dear. We have not snow, but rain. We have had two days clear, just enough to get everyone's spring fever in high gear. The rest of this week, according to the weather? Rain...

I feel for you.

Cat :)

Ah Louise I am sorry to see this.

Our Spring has finally arrived and everyone is giddy and restless with a 60 degree and blue sky day.

But it will not last and we are back to another week of rain starting tomorrow.

Just in time for the weekend. I think if my little place over at the coast does not call with a last minute vacancy , I will head east over the mountains for some desert action.

I hope any bulbs and flowers that are peeping up are still OK

We got it too, but not that much and it all melted the following day. Don't think anyone needed to shovel here. So now it's back to brown Spring.

Hang in there ... it won't be long now!

Thanks for the info Louise, I was wondering if I could put it in a pot? Or I suppose I could stand over it every time he went to mow, after I move it.

So sorry about your snow, I know you have other things you want & need to do.

We just had a line of thunderstorms & tornadoes go through. Not fun. no tv no internet till now!

Oh my! I bet you'll have lots of visitors at the feeder tomorrow. Hope your flowers don't get squished.

I forget each year just how determined and stubborn winter can be!! It's cold here in Virginia today too and a few flurries are expected--My poor feet are never going to get to warm up!

I guess that is why the change of the seasons is so fun...and elusive.

What is it with ol' Mother Nature...yes I call her ol' because this winter madness has to stop and she's too old to realize it!

Holey Moley! Enough already with the white stuff.
I always thought that if I had to live in the PNW, I'd be perpetually depressed with the grey skies, fog and rain.
But dealing with day in and day out of snow, comes in as a close second. Last year, that's how it was for us. This year....not even close. I think you have all of our snow.
It sure it pretty....but you can keep it. ;)
