Bath Time

It's a very brisk 35 F outside this morning.   But, the sun is shining brightly and it didn't take long for the front porch to heat up to the point where I could let the cats out there.  They all decided that it was a perfect time and place for a bath.  Well, except Becky.  She doesn't like the front porch.  Her favorite spot is under the covers on my bed, and I can't get good pictures there.

LOL! When I read the title, I thought YOU were going to bathe the cats! Silly me :-)

Holy crow, Sharon! I value my life too much to ever attempt to give this crew a bath. I'd need full body armor to try it.

Oh we were hoping for kitty pictures and looooook at all the pretty kitties and pink tongues.
Madi is like the proverbial 500 lb gorilla she sleeps and suns where ever she pleases.

35 degrees...brrrr. We actually broke a 1962 record high yesterday it was 87 here. But today it will only be about 73. I'm really ready for the hot weather to be over and done. Of course we don't have the severe winters here like you do. Happy day to you all,
Madi and Mom

I too thought you were going to 'bathe' the cats and expected to see a rodeo! :-) I've only bathed the housecats a few times over the years and it was always terrible drama. Do you have a sun room or is it a screened porch? I would like to build something (eventually) similar and would be interested in seeing pictures of it. I know the cats would love it!

I too thought for a minute you were going to give them a bath. And I thought mine lived for 16 and 18 years and never had one. Did I neglect them? I'm so glad to find out that cats do take care of their own baths.--Inger

Kitty baths, my favorite activity except when that rough tongue comes my direction. LOL

you've got clean kitties!

Tammy, it's an enclosed porch. My parents had it built to replace an old open porch that was there before. I don't think you could exactly call it a sun porch, because the term didn't even exist when it was built. I like it, but hardly ever get to sit out there. By the time I can sit down for a bit, the cats have all the good spots.

This doesn't help matters much Louise. I am trying to ignore the fact that I really miss having a cat around. Yours are beautiful.....and clean.

Cold weather really is on the way--Our cat CC now wants to be under the covers and wakes me up in the middle of the night to tell by touching my face with her cold paws. At least she's subtle about it! :-)

I am with Inger...I would have liked to see that lol....that would have made for interesting pictures, but I don't think you would have enough hands for that one lol. Aren't cats just the best?
