I got so many lovely responses yesterday. It did my heart good. I wanted so for you all to understand that I was busy with the horses, not bored with the blogs.
This is something that Inger and Sharon have both referred to at times. I, too, am amazed at the friends I have made by blogging. I didn't expect that, when I started. I started out to chronicle the life changes I was going through when I retired. I ended up by counting new friends made along the way. Thank you all so very much for being there.
By the way, General John, the first horse pictured yesterday, and the one in the most imminent danger, has been purchased and is safe.

Good Morning Louise!
It is really nice to have made so many friends and each has their own special "quality". If I don't see a post for a while, I do get worried, much as one would when a in person friend hasn't been heard from. I enjoy the blogs, and I'm like you, I never thought I would get so many responses from the simple things I write.
Now..... I don't know what that flower is, but it's very pretty! No use telling me, I will forget, just had to tell you how pretty it is!
Have a great day!
It's been a pleasure meeting you through the blog. It's funny how it spreads - we made contact through John Grey's blog.
So glad the General has a home. Good work, Louise.
Good for the General! Thank you to you and your friends for all you do to make this possible.
I agree...have met so many fabulous people out there!
Wonderful about General John!
I'm sorry I missed your blog yesterday--I had a tiny bit of a meltdown on Monday...But it's behind me and today is another day and I will say that I totally agree with what you have said!! I don't know what I expected when I started blogging last year, but when I became discouraged about it, I'm glad I stuck with it, because I love where it has taken me--To people and blogs like yours that I so very much enjoy!
That is a beautiful blue flower. I treasure the online friends I've made - there's a great feeling of community in the blogosphere.
OK you got me on that one! What blossom is that? It's beautiful.

A Scabiosa? Maybe Butterfly Blue? Very pretty.
So glad General John has been placed. I saw the video of Small Potatoes that has been added. She looks like a great prospect. And that Blue Ridge Guy, what an eyecatcher.
