The Snow is Back!

Hooray!  No more dirty browns and greens, at least for a while.

Have I mentioned before that I love a good snowstorm?  Unfortunately, this won't be one.  It's just a flurry.  Total snowfall today is expected to be under three inches.  Not enough for the plow guy to even show up.

Those are some big snowflakes! It must be pretty wet snow. Going to make a snow woman?

Sigh, probably not, Sharon. Got a lunch engagement, followed by seeing "The King's Speech." Thought I might take a short hike, if not today when I get back, then tomorrow, for sure.

What a pretty picture...there are rumblings about snow flurries in Raleigh tonight but more likely South of us. Then more rumblings about the weekend. We have had way more snow in the last month than we've had in years. I guess the prediction of a warmer and drier winter was a fairy tale

Me too! I love a good snow storm. And those big trees in your neighborhood are so pretty with their bare branches in the snow. The snow is melting here, it's cold at night, but the sun is so strong.--Inger

These are great pictures. I made some of the snow we had on Christmas weekend.
I live in north Alabama and snow is a big deal here.

Louise...the sun is bright and no snow here. Amazing isn't it? Not an hour away....

Those are beautiful huge flakes! :)

Gem is doing better. She did go lame again after the vet changed her bandage, but after a few more days, she rallied into her old self again. And I was glad!

Yes Louise, give me a full-blown snow storm any day.....something quieting about it. Hope you get a doozy soon.

Hello Louise!! I love snow no matter how much there is! We're supposed to get some by the end of the week, but as always I'm a 'doubting Thomas' that the weatherman are correct!! :-)

We had a flurry or so this evening but I think it's already melting. Nice pictures!

I do also love a nice snowfall, especially when I can watch it from inside the house, in front of the fireplace...it's so peaceful and beautiful

I love a good snow storm also, we had several in Iowa but then several inches of it melted on New Year's Eve, which is unusual.
