or Why I Love This Place
I looked out of my window yesterday morning and saw this.
Gosh, I love living where the critters are all around. Please excuse the quality of the shots. I was taking the photos at an angle, and through a screen. And, then, I missed the best shot. The turkey ladies came pretty close to the young buck. He stuck his nose right onto one lady's back. You should have seen her jump.

Live and let live...your own petting zoo!!
The fawn is adorable....what do the kitties do when they see the wildlife?
Madi would go completely crazy...that is if she was awake...LOL

I would say that's living the good life.
I believe the critters know that one who loves them lives here.
How nice is that. I would be looking out the window all day long and just watch.
That is so cool, I agree that that is living the good life! If you have dogs outside you would never see that!
What a wonderful little sanctuary you've cultivated for the animals. You can tell they feel at ease. Lovely photos! A few years ago I feed some bird seed that had millet in it. Ever since the millet has reseeded itself and I'll always leave a small stand of it for the birds. This year for various reasons it got totally out of hand and my side yard is a 'millet field'. I haven't the heart to do anything with it yet since the birds feed there every evening--and of course the kitties are getting loads of wishful 'bird-catching' amusement through the windows.

The only thing I am seeing out my window is the street begin torn up and some trees coming down in the park across the street
That's cool, they know it's safe there and evidently the word is spreading! It's just great!
That's so nice! What a peaceful kingdom you've made, Louise.
everybody looks healthy, so I guess that should after hanging out at your house
How beautiful! I think you need a little goat to eat under those feeders! hee hee hee
Louise I think your pictures are great! I'm really growing to love those turkey ladies!!
Louise, what channel do you tune into each day at your house? I'd love to see if I could get it up here! What a wonderful 'view' you have.

Louise, how beautiful! How do you get any work done with a view like that to enjoy?
I just love the nature you have right outside your window - just like the bird feeders and pond I see from my office window. Who could ask for more?! :) We are blessed!
