His ears are black tipped and his legs are black, his chest white, and the orange extends past his belly.
I'm really interested to hear what you find out, though.

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4420673425798745616.post-30106256050444257192011-07-25T17:04:21.999-04:002011-07-25T17:04:21.999-04:00I'm interested to know as well. And the darker coloring on your fox looks black, not grey.

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4420673425798745616.post-59527639659897764922011-07-23T22:05:30.213-04:002011-07-23T22:05:30.213-04:00hmm from the color and markings i would say yest, ...hmm from the color and markings i would say yest, but the ears maybe a red one! I'd love to get pictures of them - I'm not sure if they are red or gray. Maybe I need to spend a day or so 'stalking' the area where they were sighted!!Dreaminghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02113432418609414054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4420673425798745616.post-26159122908951479602011-07-22T23:58:48.627-04:002011-07-22T23:58:48.627-04:00I can see why you thought it was a red fox. I think of gray foxes being stockier, lower to the ground. Also, red foxes often have dark gray rumps and grizzled tails, usually tipped with a good bit of white. Your photo is not clear enough to see the end of its tail. Tails of gray foxes are dark all the way to the end.
